Inventory policies and planning, practices, staffing and technology.
Review all written policies, plans and documents and identify the basic student affairs division values related to technology.
Review current practices, including the uses of third party vendors.
Interview all staff, assess their skill level and understanding, and review staff development plans.
Interview campus IT staff and management.
Review the role of student affairs in campus IT activities and planning.
Review technology platforms, acquisitions and replacement plans.
Create written report summarizing findings which will:
Identify stakeholders knowledge, uses, perceptions, expectations of IT within student affairs.
Recommend enhancements to IT policies and planning, practices, staffing and technology in student affairs.
If needed, I will consult on writing an Information Technology plan for student development and learning.
